Sales and Marketing Intern
Job Description:
Organizes and executes sales and marketing strategies working directly with the Managing Director, the Director of Client Success and Sales & Marketing Associate. Ensures customer satisfaction, and assists in the improvement of customer satisfaction ratings. Develops client business profiles using Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Collaborates with management and others to meet goals and plans. Assists and supports management and consultants in proposal creation and group presentations. Plans, organizes, and attends meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and training. Maintains inventory and reviews collateral and promotional material and prepares packets for presentations. Assists consulting teams on various projects or other tasks as needed.
Very strong and poised interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary. Polished professional appearance a must. Expertise with Microsoft Office products, CRM desired.
Responsibilities:
Track and report sales performance
Facilitate responsive and accurate communications with clients and prospects
Increase sales productivity
Maintain and update contact information in network
Generate leads and documentation through LinkedIn
Create proposals
Assist with presentation development
Relationship building
Social media marketing updates
Assist with marketing material creation
Assist with marketing projects and distributions
Maintain sales and prospect reporting
Develop project plans as requested
Assist with ad hoc requests
Assist with general office duties
Provide support where needed to meet/exceed client/prospect expectations and deadlines
Requirements:
Acquiring Sales, Marketing, or Business degree from college or technical school
1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Internet Explorer
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
Experience with any accounting platform a plus
Advanced social media marketing skills
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
